Beauty Queen

Addison will often watch me get ready in the mornings. She loves to pretend to put on make-up. Well, this morning as I was getting ready for church (and wasn't paying attention), Addison decided that she would do her make-up! Wouldn't you know that she would pick out the darkest cosmetic I owned...brown eyeshadow! She needs some practice but at least she put it in the general area in which it was intended.

making memories at the zoo

My younger brother and his family live in Lindsborg, KS (an hour north of Wichita) and we only see each other 3 times a year (Spring Break, summer, & the holidays). Jonathan, Addison, and I went to visit last weekend and we all went to the zoo. Addison loved the animals, but she loved hanging out with her cousin, Tanner, much more. They were too cute together! Tanner was the baby of thee family until Addison came along. He feels it is his personal duty to teach Addison all he knows. In the photo, he is leading Addison around and sharing Zoology 101 with her. Our time with them is precious and we truly enjoyed ourselves.

Better Hair Day

I couldn't handle the orangeness of the "highlights", so I have attempted to return to my nature color. Again, I am not pleased with the cut, but I can deal with this color better. All I can say after all this is...let the professionals handle it from now on! I have learned my lesson!

Bad Hair Week

Okay, I always like to experiment with my hair, but this time my adventursome attitude has bit my in the behind. My hair is so short, I look like a male or my mother in the 1990's! Seriously, why couldn't I have been a little more conservative. On top of the short hair, I asked someone to put highlights in my hair to distract from the shortness. WOW! What a mistake. They colored my entire head rather than place a few highlights. So, I spent most of last evening researching how to fix my problem. I took some shots before I found my solution.

I finally gave in!

I have been fascinated by my friends' blogs and wanted the same for our family. However, I hate to write, so I am not sure how this will work out! I feel that I am proficient at wikis and I am working on a protopage, but my friend Leslie has set a high standard for blogs. I want to be like her or at least have my blog up to her standard! Please remember that I am a blogspot virgin! Be gentle!
