Cloudy with a Chance of Fun!

Even though it was cloudy today, Addison and I went to the park to play. She had an amazing time as these pics will show. We stayed about an hour before it started getting crowded. We went to lunch and a movie after the park. It was a true "girls day out" since, daddy was playing softball in Tulsa. My child is such a daredevil. She wouldn't stay on the little slide. She went for the "MONSTER" slide. This was the first of about 10 trips down this slide.
WHEEEEEE!
At the bottom, ready for another go!
Addison kept saying "HIGH, MOMMA, HIGH!"
Ready for the slide. AGAIN!!

Handi man for hire!

Jonathan has done an amazing job of making our home enjoyable with his recently acquired handiwork. He says he has amazed himself with what he has been capable of doing. I have to say that i have been amazed as well. I have known this man for 14 and a half years and never knew he cold do these things!! ENJOY
This is Jonathan's current project. A shed to hold all his tools and lawn equipment.
This was Jonathan's first project...Coco's doghouse.

Jonathan is working on built-in benches for the deck that we built together.

This is the playhouse Jonathan built for Addison. It is huge. I am thinking that she can move out there when the teenage years hit! lol

WOO PIG SOOIE!

First score of the game by the first string. Mallet looked good under center!
Addison and Jonathan giving a pre-game report from the ESPN SportCenter desk!

We had Dora boycotted at home. I guess Addison watches her at Mrs. Cindy's house because she was so excited to get her picture with Dora!

The Energizer Bunny was on hand with bunny ears. Addison wasn't too sure!

This is Addison and Jonathan riding the shuttle to Reynold's Razorback Stadium. Addison loved riding the buss with her seat belt on like a "big girl".

I have always enjoyed wayching the Razorbacks in what ever sport was in season. I remember that I was a Senior in high school when the Hoop Hogs won the National Championship. I loved it because I was going to school in Oklahoma. I was hated by many by the end of the week. Anyway, over the past 10 years or so, I have been making the trip up the hill a few times a year with my brother, Lance, and his family. Yesterday, we went to Razorfest. Razorfest is a HUGE event for families and fans with games, giveaways, and grub! It's finale is the inter-squad Red-White scrimmage. This scrimmage gives fans a preview of whats to come for the next season.
We had a blast. I went with Lance's family, my dad, Jonathan, Addison, my nephew Jacob, and his friend Barak. GO HOGS GO!!

Rain or shine

Despite the rainy weather, we waited it out and Addie hunted eggs VERY quickly in s small area. Even though we were freezing, she had great fun! The afternoon was spent eating with friends, finding eggs, eating candy, seeing family, and napping. It doesn't get any better than that!

Doctor knows best!

Well, I had to go to the doctor on Friday...AGAIN!! I have not been to the doctor for an illness since before I found out I was expecting Addison (June 2006) However, since January 30 of this year, I have been 3 times! The first time was for strep throat! I thought I was dying. I couldn't eat for 3 days. The next time I visited the doctor was for pain in the shoulder. When he did an x-ray of my shoulder to send to the orthopedic doctor, he found pneumonia in my left lung. This last visit resulted in a middle ear infection. I am seriously trying to figure out what is happening with me. Why am I so prone to sickness this year. I have a theory...Addison started going to daycare in December. I believe that she is picking illnesses up and passing them to me. She has had a bout with ear infections and is actually going to the ENT Tuesday to discuss tubes. My only hope in all this is that Spring or Summer will hurry and arrive.
